Public health has always been more than a profession for me; it’s a calling to serve, solve, and strengthen the systems that shape community well-being.
Before founding Public Health Dynamics, I spent over two decades working in information technology, building systems, managing data infrastructures, and helping organizations evolve through smarter use of digital tools. That background shaped how I approach public health today: through the lens of technology, evidence, and equity.
As a DrPH scholar and certified public health professional, I’ve spent years bridging the gap between public health theory and the real-world application of advanced analytics, AI, GIS, remote sensing, and time series forecasting. These tools aren’t just buzzwords; they are powerful instruments that, when used thoughtfully, can help us predict outbreaks, close equity gaps, and allocate resources where they’re needed most.
Right now, I’m working on a book focused on time series analysis for public health use.
project born from my belief that public health professionals deserve better access to the tools of modern data science. I’ve also had the privilege of serving as a grant reviewer, gaining insights into how programs are funded, scaled, and held accountable, an experience I bring into every client engagement.
I founded Public Health Dynamics to support agencies, coalitions, and communities that are doing the hard work on the ground. My goal is simple: to help you turn data into action, ideas into strategy, and public health systems into engines for real, lasting change.
If you're building something meaningful, we want to help you get there.
Warmly,
Lesly Estil
